Bernedoodles are generally considered to be extremely low-shedding and hypoallergenic, making them a great option for those who suffer from pet-related allergies. In fact, because of their low-shedding coat, the Bernedoodle has been known to produce significantly less airborne allergens than most other breeds of dog. That said, unfortunately, due to individual differences, there is no guarantee that even the most hypoallergenic breed will not cause allergic reactions in some people. Therefore, it is always best to conduct your own individual allergy test to be sure.
Bernedoodles are usually fed a high-quality diet that is high in protein and low in fat. The amount of food they consume will depend on their size, level of activity, and age. An adult Bernedoodle should receive two meals a day. Most owners opt for a balanced blend of premium kibble and wet food. It is also important to provide plenty of fresh water at all times.
