They have wonderful temperaments and make for excellent companions, making them a great choice for families with children or couples looking for the perfect addition to their family.
The Bernedoodle coat can vary depending on the parent breeds, with Bernese Mountain Dogs typically having a soft, long double coat and Poodles requiring regular grooming with a clipped coat. Generally speaking, the Bernedoodle coat tends to be thick and shaggy, with a wooly undercoat that provides excellent protection from the weather and a harsher, waterproof outer coat for added durability.
