This type of dog is a popular crossbreed that has the intelligence of a Poodle as well as the gentle but energetic nature of a Bernese Mountain Dog. They can range in size from toy-sized to large depending on the size of the parent breeds. These dogs typically have soft and curly or wavy fur that can be either low or non-shedding, making them ideal for those with allergies.
Bernedoodles are generally regarded as hypoallergenic dogs, meaning they are less likely to cause allergies. These dogs are a mix of Poodle and Bernese Mountain Dog, with their coat falling in between the two breeds. Most people with allergies don't experience any reaction to these hybrid dogs. On average, Bernedoodles require around an hour of exercise per day. Intense physical activity such as jogging should be limited until they reach at least one year of age, but puppy-friendly activities such as swimming, going for walks, and playing in the park are excellent forms of exercise the Bernedoodle can enjoy.
