They are considered to be very sociable, friendly, and loyal, and make an excellent family pet. On average, Bernedoodles can weigh anywhere from 12 to 70 pounds, and come in four different types F1, F1b, F2, and F2b along with different coat colors and lengths. These dogs tend to make excellent swimming companions since they love the water.
Bernedoodles are typically considered hypoallergenic due to the fact that they are a mix of a Poodle and a Bernese Mountain Dog. Their hypoallergenic coats typically contain hair rather than fur, which greatly reduces the amount of allergen-producing dander they shed.
