Bernedoodles are a hybrid breed of dogs that are the result of a Bernese Mountain Dog being bred with a Poodle. They are highly intelligent and easily trainable, making them a great choice for families. They are also very affectionate and loyal and tend to have a goofy and joyful personality. Bernedoodles come in various sizes, ranging from miniature to large, and they can be essentially any color since they combine the color variations of both the Bernese and the Poodle.
Bernedoodles are considered low-shedding dogs, but they may not be entirely non-shedding. This is because Bernedoodles are a cross between two breeds of dogs, the Bernese Mountain Dog and the Poodle, so there is some variation in the amount of shedding among Bernedoodles. However, on the whole, Bernedoodles have low-shedding coats that only require occasional brushing, making them a more manageable option for those that don’t want a lot of cleaning associated with their pet.
Finding the best food for your Bernedoodle largely depends on you. In order to make sure you pick a food that supports your pup's long-term health, it’s important to look at the protein, fat, and nutrient content of the food. For Bernedoodles, it's especially important to choose a food with high-quality animal proteins as the primary ingredient to provide the essential amino acids needed for healthy organs, muscles, and skin.
