Bernedoodles are a hybrid cross between a Bernese Mountain Dog and a Poodle. They are considered a designer breed and have a very unique look. Bernedoodles are usually considered medium to large in size and can weigh upward of 70 pounds. They are usually very intelligent and have good temperaments. They need a fair amount of exercise and mental stimulation to keep them healthy and happy. Bernedoodles also need regular brushing and grooming to keep their beautiful coats in shape. They thrive with families and individuals who are active and love spending time outdoors.
Bernedoodles are indeed considered to be non-shedding. They are hybrids that are a cross between Bernese Mountain Dogs and Poodles, resulting in a coat with the same benefits as the Poodle, including low-shedding fur. It's important to note, however, that while it is low-shedding, Bernedoodles will require regular grooming to keep their coats healthy and looking great. Brushing at least twice a week is recommended, and stripping should happen a few times a year to keep the coat neat and looking its best.
