Bernedoodles are an affectionate, loyal, and intelligent hybrid breed of dog created by crossing a Bernese Mountain Dog with a Poodle, typically a Standard Poodle. The combination of these two breeds creates a unique companion that is friendly, happy-go-lucky, and loves being around people. Bernedoodles are loyal, playful, and generally have lovely temperaments. They are excellent with children, as well as other family pets. These dogs usually require frequent grooming and exercise, including daily walks, a variety of interactive games, and regular trips to the groomer.
Bernedoodles are generally considered to be a hypoallergenic breed, but that doesn't necessarily mean that they won't cause allergies in everyone. It really depends on the individual. They have a low dander production and their fur is wavy which helps to hold irritants like pollen and debris or allergens away from the body making it easier for people with mild allergies to be around them. However, if you have moderate to severe allergies to dogs, you may still trigger a reaction when in contact with Bernedoodles.
