A Bernedoodle is a mixed breed dog created by crossing a Bernese Mountain Dog with a Poodle. As a result, it is a highly versatile, loyal, and intelligent breed of canine. It is highly trainable and has an amazing, loving disposition. The Bernedoodle hybrid tends to have a longer, wavier coat of fur and live longer than the average breeds of dogs. They generally sport a coat of black, white, and tan, and have a gentle nature and infinite patience.
Bernedoodles are generally considered to be non-shedding dogs, and many people who want to avoid pet hair in their home choose this breed for that reason. Bernedoodles are a hybrid between the Bernese Mountain Dog and the Poodle, and this combination of breeds results in very low to no shedding in most cases. The Bernedoodle has a double coat, which means it has both a top coat and an undercoat. The top coat consists of thick, long hair, which is what most people consider to be the "dog hair".
