Descended from the spaniels of King Charles II of Britain, these small, fluffy canines are classed as one of the Toy groups. They typically weigh from thirteen to eighteen pounds and stand at twelve to thirteen inches at the shoulder, making them ideal for apartment living or simply as a cuddle buddy. Cavaliers generally retain good health, thanks in part to their friendly personalities and willingness to rise to whatever challenge thrown their way.
