Additionally, Cavalier King Charles' have a longer and thicker coat than typical breeds, which means they can lead to an increase in dander and saliva and can cause an allergic reaction in some people. A prospective pet owner or anyone in the house should consult with an allergist or docor to determine if they are allergic to dogs prior to getting a Cavalier King Charles.
