Cavalier King Charles Spaniels are full of fun facts! To start with, they are considered high-energy dogs due to their hunting legacy. They love the outdoors and need plenty of exercise to stay healthy. These pooches, known affectionately as Cavvies, have an especially friendly and affectionate demeanor and are often referred to as "love spoonges"! Their silky, long fur usually comes in four different colors; Blenheim, black & tan, ruby, and tricolor.
The Cavalier King Charles coat is quite unique and beautiful. It is long and silky, with a thick, straight topcoat and a soft, textured undercoat. On the body, the coat can range from a light chestnut to a deep mahogany color, often with black-tipped fur and feathering. The head, legs, tail, and chest typically come in a white, cream, red, and blenheim (tan) color.
