Cavalier King Charles are a special breed of dog that have originated from 16th century England. They have loyal, loving and friendly personalities which have earned them the nickname ‘comforter spaniels’. They also love cuddles and attention, meaning they make loyal and affectionate pets. Physically, they have big eyes and ears, a flat skull with a silky coat. Last but not least, they have a natural, easily recognizable, snub nose giving them a unique look.
Cavalier King Charles Spaniels are not hypoallergenic. While different dogs may cause fewer allergies due to their coats, pedigree or lack of shedding, the Cavalier King Charles Spaniel does not specify any characteristics that make them more or less allergenic than other dogs. However, because of their smaller size, they do generally cause fewer allergies than larger breeds.
Cavalier King Charles Spaniels are small and active dogs that require a balanced diet.
