Originating in Britain during the 1600s, this breed is known for its rich, silky fur that is long but not too heavy. The Cavalier's beautiful flowing ear and feathering as well as its distinctive "toy" size can all be traced back to King Charles II of England, who owned several of these little spaniels. A Cavalier is loyal and obedient and will make the perfect companion for a lifetime.
The Cavalier King Charles Spaniel has a long, silky, and wavy coat that is incredibly luxurious. This breed of dog has an impressive mane that gives them a regal look. The color of the fur can vary within the breed they can come in ruby, tricolor, black and tan, and even blenheim varieties. In addition to their beautiful and unique fur, their fur is very low-maintenance and does not require much grooming.
Cavaliers King Charles are lively and intelligent dogs that require a balanced diet of proteins, vegetables, and whole grains. When looking for food, look for a high-quality kibble with natural ingredients as well as Omega and vitamins to keep your pup healthy and provide them with the nutrients they need.
