Cavlier King Charles Spaniels have a low shedding coat, compared to other breeds. This means they require much less grooming than other dogs and the majority of their hair stays on them instead of falling off and going all over your furniture, carpets, and clothing. However, they are still not a non-shedding breed. Grooming their coat is necessary to keep it in ideal health and to keep any unwanted shedding down to a minimum.
