Their coat is long and silky and they need a good brushing and occasional trimming. They are usually friendly with children and other pets if they are trained and socialized properly.
Cavalier King Charles Spaniels are known to be very low-shedding dogs that are ideal for people who don't want to deal with the hassle of excess fur. While they do shed some hair, it is very minimal and manageable. They are also hypoallergenic, which makes them even more desirable for those dealing with allergies.
