This means they can keep up with their owners on runs and hikes, or just enjoy lots of active playtime inside! They also get along well with other animals, making them excellent family dogs.

An ideal daily amount of exercise for a Cavalier King Charles individual would depend on its age, health status, and lifestyle. Generally, a healthy adult Cavalier should get at least an hour of exercise, including 30 minutes of walking, each day. This should be more than enough activity to keep them healthy, fit, and happy. However, if your Cavalier is a puppy, they may need more exercise to keep their energy levels up. Puppies should get at least two hours of exercise a day, divided up into several shorter bursts of activity like walking or playing in a secure area.
