Cavalier King Charles Spaniels, sometimes referred to as “Cavies”, are known for their beautiful, medium-length coats and their friendly, outgoing personalities. They are a small breed of dog, weighing typically between 10 and 18 pounds. Unlike most lap dogs, Cavaliers are very energetic and active, well-suited for outdoor activity. They require daily exercise with regular grooming. They can make wonderful companions, as they do get along well with other animals and children. The breed is known for its mild temperament and their loving, loyal nature.

This makes them an ideal pet for those not wanting to worry about the challenges associated with shedding pets, such as excess fur and hair all over floors and furniture. Even though they are easy to maintain, it's important to remember that all dogs should be groomed and brushed regularly to keep their coats healthy and their skin free of mats.
