Cavalier King Charles is a breed of small spaniel that is among the oldest of the toy spaniels. A small dog with an easygoing character, their personality is rather endearing and they are gentle and loyal companions. Generous and patient, they enjoy a good ear scratching but also need regular walks and other exercise. Characterised by a flat snout, round face, and large eyes fringed with long lashes, the Cavalier comes in a variety of colors. Coat care is easy – just brush or comb once a week to remove dead hairs.
Managing allergies with Cavalier King Charles Spaniels can be done by regularly grooming the dog to reduce dander, being mindful of where and when your pup plays, and regularly bathing the dog to keep fur clean and free of dust, dirt, and pollen. Additionally, it's important to limit your pup's exposure to outdoor allergens by ensuring they don't run or play in areas where grasses, weeds, and other pollen may be present. Indoor air quality can also be improved by using HEPA air purifiers and limiting exposure to known allergens.
