They are known for their athletic abilities and can compete in agility and rally events.
Cavalier King Charles Spaniel are considered low-shedding, compared to other breeds of dogs. While they do shed a small amount, the amount of hair seen around the home is far less than that of other breeds. They do require weekly brushing to help remove tangles and mats from the coat, as well as to help keep the shedding to a minimum. The good news is that Cavalier King Charles Spaniel are inherently clean dogs and don’t tend to produce an offensive doggy odor.

They typically eat a balanced diet consisting of high-quality dry food, wet food, and treats suited to their specific breed.
