Cavapoos, also known as a Cavadoodle, are a breed of designer dogs created by mating a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel and a Poodle. Cavapoos are known for their friendly and devoted personalities and bright and happy attitude. They have a lifespan of 12-15 years. Their coat is wavy and can vary from light to dark colors and range from soft and silky to wiry. Cavapoos are very intelligent dogs and are easy to train. They are great companions for people of all ages and are generally good with other animals and children.
Cavapoos are hybrid dogs that are known for being low-shedding, but they are not completely non-shedding. Thanks to their parent breeds, both the Cavalier King Charles Spaniel and the Poodle, they have a soft, wavy coat that is often low-shedding. Despite their low-shedding coats, Cavapoos do need regular grooming, as they can get knots and tangles in their hair.
Cavapoos, like any other pet, require specific diet guidelines to stay healthy. Since they are a combination of a Poodle and a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel, they should be fed both dog food and human food.
