They are a mix between a Poodle and a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel and are known to be around 12-20 pounds and then stay under the 20 pound mark for the remainder of their lives. Cavapoos often exhibit characteristics of both parent breeds, being gentle, friendly, and extremely intelligent. Cavapoos have a high energy level and require regular exercise, combined with consistent training and consistent human contact to excel and stay happy.
The Cavapoo coat is a dream come true for pet owners who like low-maintenance but also want something a bit special. Cavapoos typically have a thick, curly or wavy coat that can be both soft and silky.
