Cavapoos are a hybrid "designer breed" of domestic dog, created by mixing a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel with a Poodle. They are classified as a companion or toy breed, usually weighing between 10 and 25 pounds and size ranging from 9 to 14 inches. Cavapoos are a well-rounded and friendly breed, exhibiting qualities from both of their parent breeds which include intelligence, sociability, gentleness, and a knack for training. They have a relatively low-shedding coat which ranges from wavy to curly, and come in a variety of colors and shades.
Cavapoos are generally considered to be hypoallergenic, meaning they have minimal dander (an allergen) and shed very little. Although no breed is 100% hypoallergenic, many allergy sufferers report having better luck living with a Cavapoo, than with other dog breeds.
