Cavapoos are an increasingly popular hybrid breed that is a combination of a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel and a Poodle. They typically weigh between 10 and 25 pounds and live for 12-16 years. Some interesting facts about Cavapoos are that they are hypoallergenic due to their low dander, are considered a very trainable breed and excel in obedience and agility, and generally have a very sweet and friendly disposition. Additionally, Cavapoos don't drool as much as some breeds and are great for apartment living as they don't usually bark excessively.
Generally speaking, cavapoos are hypoallergenic, meaning that they produce fewer allergens than other breeds of dogs. This doesn't necessarily mean that cavapoos won't cause you to have allergies; there are no guarantees and some people may still be affected. However, due to their low-shedding, hypoallergenic coats, cavapoos typically generate fewer allergens than other breeds so there is a higher chance of being able to own one without having an allergic reaction.
