Classified as a hybrid, the Cavapoo is a cross between a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel and a Poodle, which makes them hybrid vigor, meaning they are healthier than either parent. Cavapoos come in a variety of coat types and sizes, with the Toy and Miniature Poodles providing some to the smaller size and the Cavalier King Charles Spaniel providing the longer coat. They can lightly shed, although many have a nearly non-shedding coat.
