Cavapoos are a mix of the Cavalier King Charles Spaniel and the Poodle, and they are one of the most popular designer mixed-breed dogs in the U.S.A. Cavapoos are generally gentle and loving, with great temperaments, and enjoy being around their families. They are usually easy to train and have a natural affinity for learning commands. Also, they don't shed, which makes them hypoallergenic. Cavapoos are active and curious dogs and can make great housemates and traveling buddies.
While Cavapoos do not necessarily cause people to have allergies, they can unknowingly affect individuals who have preexisting allergies. Even if the Cavapoo breed is considered hypoallergenic, allergens can still remain on their coat. Pet dander, saliva, and/or urine can act as triggers for those who have allergies. Cavapoo are loyal and intelligent dogs with special needs that must be met in order to ensure their overall wellbeing. Depending on the individual dog's age, energy level, overall condition, and the weather, they may need a bit more or occasionally less. Walking with your Cavapoo for more than 30 minutes each day can help keep your pup healthy and happy.
