Cavapoos are a hybrid breed, sometimes called a designer dog, that is created by crossing a Poodle with a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel. This combination results in a dog that is generally smart, loyal, and lively. Cavapoos have a silky coat that may be slightly wavy or straight, depending on the genetics of the parent breeds. They usually weight between 10 and 20 pounds and can range in height from 12 inches to 15 inches at the shoulder making them generally small in size. Cavapoos usually have an alert expression, prominent eyes, and a long muzzle.
