Cavapoos are typically smallto medium-sized dogs, inheriting the best traits of both breeds, such as intelligence and a calm, gentle temperament. This hybrid breed is often hypoallergenic and is one of the more popular mixed breeds today. Cavapoos are popular family pets due to their friendly personalities, intelligence, and non-shedding coat.
Cavapoos, which are a cross between a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel and a Poodle, can be considered hypoallergenic, depending on the individual dog and the allergy sufferer. Generally speaking, Cavapoos can produce less dander (dead skin cells that can cause allergies) and produce lower levels of the protein found in saliva that tends to be the most common cause of pet allergies. Teacup Cavapoos typically weigh 4 lbs or less when full grown and tend to be 9 inches or fewer in height. Toy Cavapoos will be around 10 14 inches tall and weigh 5 12 lbs when full grown. Miniature Cavapoos will be roughly 12 15 inches in height and weigh 12 18 lbs when full grown. Standard Cavapoos stand 15 inches or taller and weight around 18 25 lbs when full grown.
The amount of minutes per day that you should walk your Cavapoo depends heavily on the age, size, and fitness level of your pup.
