Cavapoos are a hybrid breed, also known as a designer dog. This breed is produced by actually crossing a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel and a Toy or Miniature Poodle. Cavapoos can be a good fit for many people and families as they are very intelligent, sweet-natured, and lively. They have a moderate energy level making them enthusiastic playmates, but relaxed enough to cuddle up at the end of the day. Cavapoos usually weigh between 10 and 20 pounds and have a thick, soft coat that comes in many colors.
The coat of a Cavapoo is a combination of the two great parental breeds, the Poodle and the Cavalier King Charles Spaniel. Cavapoo coats come in a variety of colors, such as black, white, tan, buff, golden, and cream. The fur is generally soft and thick, usually being either wavy or curly.
