Cavapoos are a hybrid breed of small dogs developed by crossing a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel with a Poodle. They are considered an intelligent breed, often faring well at obedience and agility training, making them a great companion pet. Further, they are known for having a friendly, gentle, and loving demeanor; and having a low-shedding coat makes them an ideal pet for people with allergies. They typically grow between 10-20 lbs and can live up to 15 years when given proper nutrition, exercise, and veterinary care.
Cavapoos are not necessarily hypoallergenic, but some people may find that their allergies are not as severe as when around other breeds of dogs. In general, Cavapoos are considered to have low to moderate shedding, which can be beneficial for those with allergies.
