The Cockapoo is touted for having the friendly, easy-going nature of the Cocker Spaniel as well as the intelligence and minimal shedding of the Poodle. They have a low-shedding coat which makes them easy to groom and maintain. Cockapoos come in a range of colors and sizes, including miniature, toy and standard.
Cockapoos are considered to be low-shedding when compared to other dogs. They are a breed of hybrid, sometimes referred to as a designer dog. They are a result of crossing a Cocker Spaniel and a Poodle. The Poodle is usually a Toy or Miniature Poodle, resulting in a smaller-sized Cockapoo. Both Cocker Spaniels and Poodles have a reputation for having low-shedding coats, which can benefit people looking for a pet with minimal shedding.

Of course, you'll want to pick up food & treats that meet the nutritional needs of your new pet, as well as toys that you know they will enjoy. You should also consider getting a few accessories, such as a dog bed for them to sleep in, a collar and leash for walks, and a waste collection bag for clean-up.
