They have a loyal personality and crave attention from their families, making them great family dogs. Cockapoos possess true canine intelligence, making them easier to train than other breeds. They can learn to come, sit, stay, and heel in very little time.
Cockapoos are generally recognized as being hypoallergenic, meaning they shed very little fur and dander, two of the primary causes of allergic reactions in people. While hypoallergenic does not mean completely allergy-free, Cockapoos are generally seen as an incredibly low-maintenance option for people with allergies.
