Cockapoos are ADORABLE and intelligent mixed breed dogs with an equal combination of cocker spaniel and poodle. They usually range in sizes from about 10-25 lbs, but some may be smaller or larger. Cockapoos can have short hair, long hair, or wavy hair; they are also available in a variety of colors. These pups are loyal, friendly, and social; however, they can also be easily excited and may exhibit a small amount of separation anxiety.
It depends. While some Cockapoos can be hypoallergenic, this is not a guarantee. It depends on which parent breed the Cockapoo is bred from. Generally, Cockapoos that are bred from a Poodle and another breed that is non-shedding and hypoallergenic may be less likely to trigger allergies due to their lack of a heavy shedding coat.
While Cockapoos can generally eat the same thing as any other house dog, like their parent breeds, there are certain things you should avoid feeding them. These include all food products with milk, onions, garlic, and chocolate as these can all upset their tummy and cause health problems if ingested.
