Cockapoos are incredibly unique and intriguing dogs. The most interesting aspect has to be the hybrid nature of this breed, which is a result of crossing poodles and cocker spaniels. As a result, Cockapoos boast a mix of temperaments, physical characteristics, and even varying levels of hypoallergenic coat qualities. Their personalities are so unpredictable, as some may have a more bubbly personality from their poodle parent, or the quieter, calmer attitude from their cocker spaniel parent.
Although Cockapoos are not technically hypoallergenic, they are often considered a good choice for those looking for a less-allergenic dog as many Cockapoo owners report little to no allergy symptoms associated with their pet. This is likely due to the Cockapoo breed being a mix of both a Cocker Spaniel and a Poodle, both of which are often considered low allergen breeds.
