A Cockapoo is a hybrid dog created by crossing a Poodle with a Cocker Spaniel. Cockapoos, also known as "Spoodles," are friendly, affectionate, and playful. They are smart dogs that can sometimes be mischievous and have a great sense of humor. Cockapoos have long, wavy coats that can either be low or high maintenance depending on the type and are available in many different colors. Most Cockapoos weigh between 5 and 20 pounds and are of medium-size, making them an ideal companion breed.
The Cockapoo coat is generally a soft, light, and wavy coat and may range anywhere from straight to curly depending on the generation. It's often low to no-shed, which is attractive to many owners for the small to mid-size size of the breed. The coat may come in a variety of colors such as black, white, chocolate, red, apricot, and silver. Regular bathing and brushing are recommended to keep the Coat soft, healthy and free from tangles and mats.
