It is a common misconception that Cockapoos are completely non-shedding. While their coats are much less prone to shedding than many other breeds, Cockapoos do still shed to some degree. Depending on the breed, Cockapoos may shed minimally, but because they have fibers from both their Poodle parent and their Cocker Spaniel parent, they may shed more than a Poodle but less than a Cocker Spaniel. Generally, Cockapoos are considered low-shedding.
