What's more, this hybrid dog breed exists in a wide variety of colors, sizes, and coat textures, so you're sure to find one that suits you and your lifestyle. On top of that, the Cockapoo's average lifespan is at least 15 years, quite a bit longer than many other dog breeds.
While Cockapoos are considered to be hypoallergenic, some people may still have an allergic reaction to them. Cockapoos come in a variety of sizes, ranging from Toy, Miniature, and Standard. Toy Cockapoos typically reach heights of between 11 and 14 inches, and weigh around 6 to 9 pounds. Miniature Cockapoos can reach heights of up to 15 inches, with a weight of around 10 to 20 pounds. Standard Cockapoos reach heights of 15 inches to 18 inches, weighing in at over 20 to 40 pounds.
It is recommended that Cockapoos receive at least 30 minutes of exercise per day. Of that, 20 to 30 minutes should be dedicated to walking. This is best split into two or three walks per day to ensure that your pup isn't overdoing it and stays active. It's important to cater your dog's exercise needs to his age, size, and health if your pup has any physical limitations, you should adjust the frequency and intensity of his walks accordingly.
