They are a cross between a Cocker Spaniel and a Poodle, and the amount of each breed in the mix can vary depending on the Cockapoo's parentage. This means that each Cockapoo is unique and no two Cockapoos are completely identical even within the same litter! In addition, Cockapoos not only come in a variety of colors, but the mix of the two breeds also gives them a unique coat and wavy fur that is soft and fluffy.
Cockapoos are a mixed-breed dog that are a combination of a Cocker Spaniel and a Poodle. As they are hybrids, Cockapoos don't have a consistently consistent traits and hereditary. Therefore, not all Cockapoos will be hypoallergenic. In general, Cockapoos will have the soft coat similar to a Poodle which can be hypoallergenic and the range will depend on individual dogs. Generally, Cockapoos that are more Poodle than Cocker have the best chance of being hypoallergenic.
