They are a cross between a Poodle and a Cocker Spaniel and are often referred to as a ‘designer breed’, as they have taken on attributes from both of these breeds. Cockapoos are a companion dog and can come in different sizes of toy, miniature and standard. These dogs are well known for their intelligence, playfulness and loyalty as well as their willingness to be around other people and animals.
The Cockapoo coat is generally a soft, medium-length double coat. Generally, they don't shed much and their fur is hypo-allergenic. This breed is great for those with loose, wavy, and curly hair, since it has minimal shedding and upkeep. Color variations range from cream, buff, dark apricot, red, and silver beige. The Cockapoo coat is often described as low-odor, which is great for those with allergies.

The Standard Cockapoo stands taller than the Miniature at 14-18 inches in height and can weigh between 18-22 lbs.
