Cockapoos are a hybrid breed of dog that is a combination of a Cocker Spaniel and a Poodle. This unique mix of two breed together creates an amazing hybrid that has the best qualities of both parent breeds. What makes them so interesting is their pup personality. Due to their intelligence, Cockapoos are easy to train and as they form very strong bonds with their owners they are loyal and loving dogs. They also have a low to non-shedding coat, come in a variety of colors, and will make a perfect companion for any family.
Cockapoos are often touted as non-shedding dogs, but that does not guarantee that they are entirely free of shedding. While they may produce significantly less hair than other breeds, they may still have some shedding, particularly when the coat changes from puppy to adult. Regular brushing and grooming can help reduce shedding, as well as keeping your Cockapoo well-nourished to ensure a strong, healthy coat. Though Cockapoos are generally low-shedding dogs, they may require daily vigorous brushing to keep their coats healthy and their shedding to a minimum.
