They require regular grooming to keep their coats silky and soft, and they also need to be kept well-exercised. Cockapoos crave love and attention and will bond strongly with their owners. While they may bark to alert their people of intruders or strange noises, they are not known as barkers otherwise.
Managing allergies with Cockapoos can be achieved with several steps. First, ensure the Cockapoo is well-groomed to reduce shedding which is often the cause of allergen building up in your home. Secondly, vacuum carpets and furniture regularly to reduce the amount of dander. Thirdly, be mindful of your Cockapoo's diet and choose hypoallergenic food such as fish or lamb-based if possible.
