As a result, Cockapoos require a fair amount of exercise and mental stimulation in order to stay happy and healthy. They are great for people who live in an apartment, as long as they get enough exercise and attention.
Cockapoos are generally considered to be a hypoallergenic and low-shedding breed, though there are some individual variations between the dogs within the breed. Cockapoos don't shed much in comparison to other breeds, but they do need to be groomed regularly to keep their coats healthy.
