Cockapoos are a hybrid breed that is a mix of a Cocker Spaniel and a Poodle. As a result, they do not fit into a certain class of dog--they are not considered a purebred breed. Cockapoos are small to medium sized dogs that range in size from 10-30 pounds, depending on which parent they most closely resemble. The coat of a Cockapoo may be smooth, wavy, or curly, and color can vary from solid to a mixture of colors.
It is possible to develop allergies to Cockapoos, but it is not a common occurrence. The type of allergies that a person could develop from a Cockapoo will depend on the individual. People may develop reactions to the breed's coat, saliva, urine, and even food allergies.
