They are outgoing and social and love to engage with everyone they meet. Cockapoos are versatile and thrive in any environment, from an apartment to the outdoors, making them one of the most adaptable breeds. On top of that, they are highly trainable and pick up commands quickly, making them a great choice for novice dog owners.
Cockapoos are hybrid dogs that are typically low to non-shedding. They are a combination of a Cocker Spaniel and a Poodle and usually have a thick, glossy coat. Since they do not shed as much as most breeds, they do not need constant cleaning and grooming to manage their coats. Cockapoos also don't usually have an undercoat, which helps limit shedding. As with all hybrid breeds, however, the amount of shedding in a Cockapoo can depend heavily on which parent's genes are dominant.
