Dachshunds are a unique breed of canine; they have a distinctive looked, long bodies and short legs that make them quite the remarkable sight. Their fun-loving, outgoing personalities have made them great family pets for generations. The most interesting thing about Dachshunds is their incredible size range; they come in four different sizes Standard, Miniature, and the rarer Miniature-Toy and Kaninchenteckel. They have the same loyalty and intelligence yet come in different sizes.
Managing allergies with Dachshunds can be a challenge as they do shed and produce dander. The best approach is to create an allergen-free environment that keeps pet dander, dust and other indoor allergens at a minimum.
