Perhaps the most captivating aspect of the breed is their keen sense of smell and intelligence. This independent breed of dog is known to sniff out rodent infestations and can often be stubborn when it comes to training. They are incredibly loyal, which is not surprising knowing they were originally bred as hunting dogs.
Managing allergies with Dachshunds requires thoughtful consideration and prevention of potential triggers. Start by learning about typical allergens like dust mites, pollen, mold, and pet dander, as every pet has some of these elements.
