It's important to know that Dachshunds need plenty of exercise and activities to stay healthy, both mentally and physically, as they're prone to obesity if inactive for too long. They can be quite vocal, so be sure to be prepared for that when bringing a Dachshund into your home.
Dachshunds are considered low-shedding dogs compared to many other breeds; however, they are not completely non-shedding.
