From their irresistible flat-faced smiles, to their sturdy and muscular physiques, it’s no wonder they've grown so popular over the past few decades. One of the most interesting things about French Bulldogs is their surprising agility. While their unique size and shape might suggest otherwise, French Bulldogs can actually be quite active and agile, able to jump, run, and even play catch. Additionally, French Bulldogs are known for their sweet and tender dispositions.
French Bulldogs do shed, although not as much as some other breeds of dogs. They have a short and somewhat coarse coat which makes them appear to have less shedding than long-haired breeds. French Bulldogs have little to no undercoat, so they don't have the same issue with shedding as other dogs. However, during the warmer months or times of high stress, they may shed more than usual. Grooming a French Bulldog regularly with a soft-bristled brush and gentle shampoo can help minimize shedding and keep its coat looking its best.
