French Bulldogs are great jumpers and can leap up to four feet in the air! They can also swim, and are actually quite good at it. They have an endearing laziness about them, though they can sometimes be stubborn. They also have a signature "bat ears" look, and come in a variety of colors like fawn, cream, brindle, and even blue.
The French Bulldog coat is typically smooth and short-haired with a bright and agreeable brindle color. This breed has a unique coat in comparison to other canine companions. The French Bulldog's coat generally has a mix of tans, fawns, brindles, and whites and is quite soft to the touch. They have no or very little undercoat and require minimal grooming. This short-haired breed sheds moderately and is prone to skin irritations and allergies. French Bulldogs usually have a slightly wrinkled face, neck, and back and can sometimes have fluffy ears.
