Your French Bulldog puppy will grow to be quite small as an adult. Most French Bulldogs max out at about 28 pounds, but they can range from 16-28 pounds depending on gender and genetics. They typically stay under 12 inches at the withers (highest point of the shoulder blades) and usually reach their full size by age two. Keep in mind that some Frenchies can be larger and it is normal for them to grow throughout their lives, although their size will generally stay within the aforementioned range. Regular exercise and a healthy diet are recommended to keep your French Bulldog active and fit.
As a general rule, you should aim to give your French Bulldog between thirty and sixty minutes of walking each day. Depending on the age and health of your pup, you might need to adjust the amount of time spent walking. If your pup is very young, then you should probably start by taking them out for shorter walks three or four times a day. If your pup is older or has any medical issues, your veterinarian might recommend more or less exercise time than our recommended thirty to sixty minutes. Additionally, walks aren't the only form of exercise that can be beneficial to your pup.
