Goldendoodles are a hybrid breed of dog, usually preserving the traits of both a Golden Retriever and a Poodle. They are highly intelligent, obedient, and easily trainable, making them great family pets. Goldendoodles are also very friendly and have a low to moderate activity level, although they do require regular exercise. They develop strong bonds with their family members and thrive in homes with plenty of love and attention. Goldendoodles have a moderate energy level, require regular brushing, and should be groomed every 4-8 weeks.
Goldendoodles are considered hypoallergenic as they share many of the same qualities as other breeds considered hypoallergenic. Goldendoodles are a cross between a Golden Retriever and a Poodle and they have a non-shedding coat, which produces less dander (the cause of most allergies) than other breeds.
